January marks the gradual lengthening of the days and with now being a few weeks past Winter Solstice – the energy of the return of the light becomes well-noticeable. January can be a useful time for dietary detoxification and fasting ready for the Spring, as well as intention setting and reflecting on one’s life and where one is at spiritually.
This awareness and the intentions can then become manifest in a fuller sense in the Spring Solar Cycle (starting in early February). Those in tune with the Solar Cycles will notice the day lengthening is gradual at first and then gathers pace toward the end of Solar Winter (which ends in early February). First the evenings are longer, and then in early January, one is done with the latest sunrise as well – and then comes the lighter mornings.
There is also a lot to be said about living in climes where winter is relatively mild, short and tame (for example, Portugal). Long cold winters can be a serious vibrational dampener and last year we also opted for moving down from the higher mountains (and out of living in a persistent winter season cloud layer) in favour of living in a much milder valley where Spring comes several weeks earlier (in terms of tree leafing and warmth). Such a move also gives far more options for daily intensive altitude-gaining hikes.
In terms of reflections that come with age – having just turned 51 – maintaining optimum health and fitness is very important for me – and there is a lot of wisdom accumulated from my life experience that I can share with those who wish to work with me in the health, fitness and spirituality area. What is also important is spiritual peace and living in wisdom, and I can say from experience once one turns 50 one’s spiritual energy becomes a lot different, one has a stronger anchor with one’s Source, and one is far less interested in karmic world nonsense, or the general energy vibration of the human world as a whole.
Thus, spiritual retreat from the world continues and my intention this year is working with several aligned and suited individuals this year that wish to learn from my life experience and wisdom, as well as offering hiking retreats (more on that later).
Personally I have found around “the 50 years of age mark” one can have a major series of life reviews, one has a chance to reflect deeply on one’s life journey from a deeper perspective, and one becomes more in communion with one’s own Soul energy. For a while one goes through a stage where one will think “okay I had all these Earthly experiences, I had relationships, did this work and that work, travelled here, travelled there, learned this, learned that, had these experiences and those experiences, and so what next?” and then one realizes from the second perspective that once one has gone through the bulk of one’s “incarnational intensity” (everything crammed into 2 or 3 decades) one enters into a different awareness where the intensity is not there nor needs to be.
Life can be far quieter and peaceful, and when one has done the bulk of one’s incarnational learning, one can then spend one’s later years in a deeper spiritual awareness and peace, in strong and supportive Earthly conditions. Looking back I spent years in disputes with those who would not want that for me and/or because I did not fit into their expectations about how I ought to be or live, but in the end the Higher Power in me (using the Law of Assumption) won out.
As said in March 2025 – “It can be said in 2016 – I “assumed” the true value of my work, decided I was going to be in retreat from the human race and work with a few High-Fee Clients to support and sustain my journey, and what followed was a mass of human world opposition, karma chaos, conflicts and disputes, of a mind boggling scale, and in the end the Higher Power won over everything.”
The lesson is that in a dualistic world when one chooses to “spiritually self-individualize” objections and opposition is everywhere and when one decides for oneself on better conditions and/or rejects prevailing conditioning, expectations, beliefs about how one ought to be or serve, objections and opposition appears (and then later disappears) – and it would seem a major part of my life journey was about finding my own authentic service blueprint that is aligned with me and my own path, and operating from that space.
Everyone that opposed my deeper peace in well grounded Earthly conditions just ran into a lot of legal trouble, lost a lot of energy and money, and then gave up.
Reflections on Light-workers and my Spiritual Path
My path is not “helping as many people as possible”, and in my opinion, and also from experience, many healers and light-workers saying this type of thing are on one big ego fuelled trip. These people are craving emotional validation, are on a big dopamine addiction cycle (when you get an emotional kick out of helping people, you get a dopamine spike just like a drugs high), they love having hundreds of likes on posts or they love feeling important (that they are helping as many people as possible).
All they are really doing is spoon-feeding all of their followers energy and then they want more energy from others so they can keep doing it and be at the centre of attention in their following as one big and bright shiny light-worker. They are doing it to try and validate themselves or get approval because they are not in self love, and the whole theme of “helping as many people as possible” is driven by a combination of emotional sentiment and the need for emotional validation compounded by toxic ego which masks deep unhealed wounding.
Beneath all of that can be a lot of extreme narcissism and hostility (manifestations of unhealed darkness) that personally, does not interest me nor is it my path or responsibility to entertain or heal.
If you can genuinely help a lot of other people and if that is your path, just do it, and do not inflate your ego over it or inflate what you are doing into the concept of some “supremely important divine mission” – whilst getting high on dopamine and being emotionally infatuated with shining love and light. More importantly, do not try and bring me into it or have some big story about how I have be humble, look up to you and serve your so called “divine mission” and your people, and that I have some “divine obligation” to do it and/or I do not have free will – because you are taking a healing or taking a medicine to the people, etc, etc – as none of these light-worker dynamics, karmas, projections and stories interest me – having seen them for what they are in intricate detail and having witnessed a lot of the inevitable resultant karmic blows ups that ensue.
Some people channelling energy (love and light) for these so called “divine missions” are also being seriously manipulated by various astral entities who want them to continue to be light-workers so they can be enslaved to the lower astral planes status quo, and other light-workers are just energy stealers wearing masks (that with awareness one can see through) masquerading as divine light-bearers, councils of light or the bringers of the new humanity, etc, etc..
I have also been through the light-worker scene and ascended out of it – so I know what I am talking about and all that glistens is definitely not gold.
When you are healed in yourself you do not need to go out there and try and “help as many people as possible” nor is it even necessary, and one does not even have any interest in being at the centre of attention or being one big bright shiny light-worker. The light-worker fallacy is also that the darkness of the world needs somehow needs to be healed and it HAS to be healed and/or humanity HAS to have a healing.
The Darkness of the World
No-one can heal the darkness of the world, it is too big and too deep, millions of new souls are coming in with heavy-duty karma daily and in a dualistic world, darkness is part and parcel of the deal. If one does not like the darkness, one can only resolve one’s own relationship to it and step back from the Wheel and live in a more peaceful and gracious reality. Then one can accept philosophically that there will always be darkness here on this world because it is the teacher for other souls.
One can bear witness to a lot of conflict and war in the world, hear about mass slaughter and all kinds of similar stories, like the war in Ukraine (for example), the desecration and destruction of the environment, all manner of social injustices, gun violence, religious wars, the Gaza story – the list of the appearances of many goings on that reflect back darkness, evil and suffering can be endless. As said above, millions of souls keep incarnating daily with their own karma to heal.
When one can truly understand philosophically why everything is happening, one can have a different perspective and come to a deeper spiritual peace about it.
Some teachers and healers even talk about integrating one’s darkness, and in my opinion inner work is about purifying out the darkness (purifying oneself of karma black stones) rather than embracing one’s darkness and then looking for healing in that. Inner work is to become aware of one’s own darkness and become free of it, and then there is no darkness remaining.
Inner Purity
It is also possible to become completely purified and it is possible to become “too pure for the world” in which case the philosophical answer is spiritual practice in retreat from it. There lies freedom from what would otherwise be an endless maze of projections (and the associated disturbances to the spiritual peace), and in the spiritual community, projecting one’s darkness onto others, is rife. Wise people will see that me (and my energy) does not have a place in it, and amongst the uninitiated or those with hubristic egos, the lessons that my energy would present are generally not well received – as by and large, people do not care about moral purification – yet in the end, moral purification is everything.
When you become “too pure for the world” then in essence one has become purified of the karma of the human world and then one does not need to continue to be involved in it. Beyond a certain point, the concept of compromising one’s own energetic and karmic purity for the benefit of the masses (that will not be able to benefit from it anyway) becomes untenable, and wise people will understand how I evolved out of this “Healing Humanity with Love” blueprint (and where the blueprint even came from at the start).
An individual wrote recently and claimed about me that I felt and knew myself as “special” in some way, and to elaborate on that point, I am an ordinary human being (in appearance), but “the gift” of the astral awareness (consciousness) that enabled me to travel to these worlds of Star Beings and bring it back into Earthly consciousness, is special (a rare gift).
It is my awareness and consciousness of the Astral Planes, and that concentrated into my incarnation on Earth, that is “special” or appears as “a special power” or “a unique energy”. That same energy is immune to the many manipulations of the karmic-worlds.
Great is the karmic suffering among the very many that have tried to desecrate and denigrate this awareness (and the energy of it) and/or who have tried to make my energy suck up some black karma that is not mine – and in every case – they have ultimately failed. In each case their moral grade was deficient, their ethics flawed, or my energy reflected back to them what was not healed in themselves in a very intense manner.
My energy is also far too intense and fiery, it is also an extreme mirror for karmic purification as well as ethical and moral purity. Unless a lot of that is already in place, you will not be able to handle the intensity of the mirror and then my energy would only give intense moral or ethical lessons (that would only then cause a lot of upheaval and be perceived as negative) and/or you will not have the energetic resonance with me or my teachings.
When you are well healed in yourself, healed emotionally and grounded in wisdom (and thus no longer driven by emotions) and are well past all the light-worker dynamics – and you have the karmic merit to learn – then my energy and work gives the positive teachings – and then you will find them beneficial.
I had my own healing journey with these experiences, and in the end, the healing was to understand humanity as a whole could not possibly have these teachings or share in the energy of these Star Beings books (and the energy and vibration of the books is where the worth is), and then began the ascent out of persecution energy and becoming restored to whiteness (karmic purity) by a Higher Power through getting forgiveness for light-worker karma.
Self Love and Understanding Manipulation
The end result of being purified of light-worker karma is Self-Love Mastery. When one masters Self Love one becomes immune to all forms of manipulation of which there are many kinds including astral entities and forces, cults, family conditioning, other humans, religions, toxic groups or organizations, and a myriad of other influences / karmic forces.
Many of these dynamics have at base one base motive (whether conscious or otherwise), namely energetic interference or tampering with the life force of souls to attempt to keep them roped into the Reincarnational Cycle. All forms of manipulation are basically the same thing – namely energy manipulation (life force or astral planes/soul manipulation), which is nothing other than an attempt to get energy to which one is not otherwise karmically entitled to, or attempting to influence someone’s free will (which is not ethical, nor recommended).
When one masters Self Love one also always has sufficient energy, and if you do not have sufficient energy you can be manipulated. When you have a lot of stored energy and in Self Love, then one will be unable to be manipulated. Energy Mastery leads to immunity from manipulation (and light-worker karma), and Energy Mastery and Self Love are closely connected.
When you become immune to manipulation, then one attains “Soul Salvation” from the Reincarnational Cycle (on Earth) and one then becomes free of any and all dynamics within it, and no longer has an energy cord with anyone in the human race. Then it is impossible to be manipulated by anything or anyone, and then anything or anyone that tries, will simply lose a lot of energy.
Only when one has understood manipulation for what it is, and transcended the dynamics, only then can one say one is a truly free soul. “Soul Salvation” also means being free of the karma of rebirth and not coming back to Earth.
In many ways, humans are being manipulated, but it is not quite what it seems (for example – it is not exactly a prison planet, although it might appear that way), and it is for each soul to ascend out of all those dynamics – if they choose. All humans do have an inherent free will (although it can be deeply buried by karmic conditioning and everything else that comes with what would otherwise be entrenchment in human world karma).
Emotional Purification and Healing
Healed people are content in themselves and their own company, and if they can and wish to genuinely help others, that is all well and good, but it does not become an ego-driven preoccupation. They see the world for what it is, and understand why it is the way it is (from a philosophic standpoint), and they do not seek to change or heal the darkness or suffering of the world. When one is emotionally purified one sees things in a different way.
The key reflection on emotional purification is the emotions are like the sea and if you fall in and get wet, then you can be pulled this way and that way by all types of currents beyond your control, and then one is enslaved to one’s emotions and the emotional energies of the entire human race (humans are predominantly driven by emotions).
Soul freedom comes from getting out of the sea of emotions, purifying the emotional body and the energy body of what can be understood as “sentimental glue” – which then fosters attachments and the intense desire to endlessly want to “connect” with others – which can also be an addiction or a distraction from the deeper spiritual work.
The emotional life and journey is also a stage of spiritual purification, and after the emotional purification, then comes the fire purification (purified by the raw fire energy of Source itself). The fire energy dissolves and purifies this “sentimental glue” which is the emotional bonding force prevalent throughout the entire human race.
Then one is driven by logic (mental acuity) and philosophical awareness, which has very little to do with emotions, for one must be purified of the emotions to have a philosophically sharpened mind and the refined energy body to be able to handle raw awareness (consciousness) unfiltered by distractions and vices.
Advanced reflections also involve understanding “human bonding” and what that actually is on a deeper level, and beyond a certain point one can evolve beyond the need to emotionally or energetically “bond” or “connect” with others. Advanced understanding is to understand spiritual freedom can only ultimately be attained when one is in a complete Union with one’s Higher Self and then the need to emotionally or energetically “bond” or “connect” with others disappears.
For almost everybody the resultant state is beyond human understanding as the blueprint to “connect” with others is so deep seated, and one’s self identity so bound up in connections with others, that any thought of anything else is impossible, and almost everybody will be unable to tolerate the refined state of consciousness that comes from near solitude in spirit.
At base I do my own thing, live the hermit life (aka eremitism), although I do not live totally alone (nor is it totally necessary either), I value a comfortable and simple life in retreat from the human race in peace, nor is there any “divine obligation” for me to come out of retreat and get my hands dirty cleaning up and healing other people’s karmic muck that I am not even responsible for.
I am also a philosopher and not a light-worker – and have no attachment to big followings or being at the centre of attention or at the centre of anyone else’s attention – nor am I interested in “getting my teachings and work out to as many people as possible”.
When I decided to remove my teachings from the human race, I became healed of light-worker karma and all the toxic ego dynamics that came with it, and now I do not have the tolerance for any of it.
From my perspective quality over quantity matters – for me – helping a few people (and the right people) to attain deep wisdom and transform their spiritual perspectives – whilst working on myself – has far more importance and weight – rather than putting myself out there and energetically spoon-feeding the masses.
As said in 2024 – “It can be said for some Starseeds the appearance of hostility, persecution and similar energies simply teaches one to remove one’s awareness from the collectives where such energy exists, and the consequence of wishing to share a transcendental healing with the human race can attract to one the worst opposites (persecution, hostility, sickness, disputes, and a whole host of other external troubles that can disturb the peace). I have also witnessed a lot of other Starseeds having similar issues (but perhaps not to the same intensity) and there are some lessons in wisdom for readers to reflect on (why is this all happening?)
In the end I found deeper healing and resolution from such karmic energies from the human race – by withdrawing my teachings from the mainstream human race, holding the energy of those teachings and its body of wisdom – and all of those issues resolved. I became healed, healthy, purified of black karma stones and purified of the karma of interference energies and legal persecution karma and found myself in a totally different renewed and revitalized energy.”
In simpler terms, less sharing of one’s energy and spiritual gifts in the outer world equates to improved Earthly conditions, and transference of merit can also work in reverse (being on the receiving end of it) and experiencing one’s positive karma.
Hiking as Spiritual Practice
The solitude of nature and being amongst rocky peaks also gives a deeper connection and grounding with the Earth, nature, the Sun and sometimes even the Universe itself – depending on how much consciousness expansion one experiences on a particular hike.
Hiking gives a different perspective on life. From a higher vantage point one can sometimes see life in a different way and then hiking becomes a spiritual practice as well as a fitness hobby.
Winter sunshine can sometimes carry a strong revitalising energy, and there is much that can be said about developing a strong energetic connection with our own Sun.
Winter sunrise hiking also comes with the discipline of getting up well before dawn in what can be freezing cold conditions. However one soon warms up after hiking up steep trails.
Daily intensive workout is also one of the key things that contributes to healthy longevity – more so when combined with daily cold plunges, a purified diet, long intermittent fasts and some monthly extended fasting periods. Living in retreat from the human world and the solitude of nature along with witnessing the changing of the seasons and the solar cycles purifies one’s soul, gives clarity, and a philosophical perspective on life then unfolds and matures over time – and the end result is a deep grounding in spiritual peace and wisdom.

This year I am offering 1-1 hiking retreats in Portugal during May and June 2026. 14-21 days in the North of Portugal in local hikers accommodation. Includes sunrise hiking, visits to National Parks and the opportunity to converse with me in the person.
Ideal for those who are physically fit and can handle 4-8 hour hiking days in hilly and mountainous terrain. Suited for those who are interested in intermittent fasting, fasting, veganism and healthy living mentoring.
Alcohol, meat, substances of any kind and smoking are not allowed.
These hiking retreats are suited for vegans.
